Artist's Description

"As in most of my work, I combine elements of Cubism and Collage to create art that celebrates the combination of African and American cultures. The focal point of this work is an African Dan mask, symbolizing the cultural heritage of Africa and the African diaspora. Bird of Paradise represents the beauty and resilience of diverse communities. A sea shell and gemstone echo the connection between humanity and nature.
